Inspired by
Philip Guston

Chunky stoneware mugs, handmade for Tate by Atelier Jessie to celebrate the arrival of Philip Guston at Tate Modern. Designed and made for the Tate, the design of the mug is inspired by Philip Guston’s painting, Cup, 1972.

Girls just wanna have functional homeware

  • Atelier Jessie designs, produces and fires all ceramics from a shared North London studio. Working exclusively with stoneware, each piece is non-porous, food-safe and lead-free. On top of the Atelier’s main collection, we make small limited edition batches often to keep things fresh.

  • Founder Jessie expertly crafts quintessential ceramic staples for home and life, but with a unique personal flair. Expect modern ceramic tableware, refreshed sculptural forms, curated colour palettes and showstopper pieces built for any interior space.

  • Atelier Jessie firmly believes in being surrounded by objects that spark joy and fulfilment. Staying true to the Atelier’s ethos, we explore current trends without cutting corners on quality, sustainability or functionality.
